What’s more, optional rear and sub speakers offer next level surround sound should you want to make the move to full surround sound.
The technology to deliver a spacious sound from a single box
Using front speakers alone, Sony’s S-Force PRO Front Surround utilises sophisticated digital processing to recreate a surround sound effect. Working in conjunction with this, Vertical Surround Engine pushes the sound upwards, creating a 3D soundfield that optimises Dolby Atmos and DTS:X soundtracks. Sony’s newly developed upmixer lets you experience three-dimensional sound from a stereo source.
Crystal-clear dialogue
Featuring a dedicated centre speaker unit and Sony’s unique signal processing technology, the HT-S2000 reduces vocal distortion and delivers crisp and clean dialogue that’s easy to hear above the soundtrack and background noise. Dialogue that once sounded mumbled and hard to hear is transformed into intelligible speech.
Built-in subwoofers for punchier bass
Dual subwoofers, with bass ducts, provide the deepest sound possible from a single unit soundbar. Placed either side of the centre speaker, the subwoofers use lengthened bass ducts to maximise the bass effect. This intelligent design creates a deeper, richer sound, while keeping the soundbar as compact as possible.
X-Balanced speakers for optimised sound
Another piece of space-saving brilliance comes from Sony’s X-Balanced Speakers. Designed with a maximised cone area, you get the most sound possible from such a compact speaker. The design also reduces driver excursion, meaning you get less distortion and greater vocal clarity. Whether you’re playing music or movies, X-Balanced Speakers deliver more.
Optional wireless surround speakers
For an even more immersive sound, add the optional SA-RS3S wireless rear speakers. These further enhance the impression of wrap-around sound, with the two-way speakers firmly pinpointing the special effects all around you.
Optional sub, for even deeper bass
Although the HT-S2000 features subwoofers built-in, for bass that you can really feel, you can upgrade with the optional SA-SW3 or SA-SW5 subwoofers. These take the bass to completely new level, introducing rumble and thunder to the soundtrack, keeping you on the edge of your seat. Wireless connectivity cuts the clutter.
Easy to setup, with Home Entertainment Connect
Setting up and using this soundbar is easier than ever with the Sony Home Entertainment Connect app. The app intuitively guides you through the initial settings, assists with troubleshooting and then, once setup, gives you full control of the volume, soundfield and more – all from the convenience of your smartphone. For a more tactile control, a comfortable remote control is also supplied.
Stream your music with wireless Bluetooth
More than just giving a boost to your TV’s sound, the Sony HT-S2000 soundbar also makes a handy speaker for your music. Grade Pristine Refurbished
Also called New-other, these products are typically unused ex-display items, or items that have been returned to store within the 30-day change of mind period with no signs of use. They will be supplied with all of the accessories and usually in the original retail packaging. The packaging may have some sticky tape damage. 1-year warranty unless otherwise stated on the product page.
Grade A Refurbished
One step down from our Open-box grade, these products are typically ex-display items, or items that have been returned to store within the 30-day change of mind period. Some items may have minor marks (there will be no marks on Laptops/TV's/Monitor screens), consistent with light usage and handling. They may be missing some of the accessories, but this will be clearly detailed, and they may no longer be the original retail packaging, or the packaging may have some sticky tape damage. 1-year warranty unless otherwise stated on the product page.
Grade B Refurbished
Our Grade B items will have some noticeable cosmetic marks as detailed, but will be in perfect working order. Likely to be missing some of the accessories (but this will be detailed) or non-original accessories used instead. May no longer be in the original packaging. 1-year warranty unless otherwise stated on the product page.
The majority of orders are dispatched FREE via DPD Local via an overnight service. If orders are placed before 2pm, these will usually be shipped the same day for next working day delivery. Every parcel shipped with DPD is carbon neutral.
With DPD Local, there is no need to wait in all day for your delivery to arrive. DPD Local will email a pre-delivery notification the night before delivery, and text you with a 1-hour delivery slot once the parcel has delivery vehicle has been loaded the following morning. You'll also get a 30 minute notification when the van is close so no more missed deliveries!

You are also able to change various ‘in-flight’ delivery options including reschedule delivery or have your order delivered to your local DPD Local pickup shop where you can collect it whenever is convenient for you. Please ensure that you leave us with your correct email address and mobile number to take advantage of this service.
Larger items that exceed one meter in length will be sent via Parcelforce 24/48 and may take 2-3 days to arrive due to the specialised nature of a large parcel delivery. Any refused deliveries may incur a surcharge which will not be refunded.
